Originally Solace Farm General Store in South Dakota, my husband and I decided to move to be near the grandbabies and brought our business to Colorado. We have named it Bad Nana's Damm Good Things for two reasons. My Grandson's call me Nana, and one year while making Christmas cookies, one of them told me "Don't be a bad Nana"! Apparently putting red frosting on his nose to make him Rudolph was not his idea of fun? Next, because I do get asked, "Damm" is our family name. Please note, this did not go over well with the nuns in catholic school.... Finally, my husband likes to brag that I make Damm good things (insert polite blushing here) and I like sharing the things I make with others.
